We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with expertise in digital marketing to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility in the competitive financial services sector.

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in Digital Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving both strategic business growth and expanding the organization’s digital footprint. The financial services sector is evolving rapidly, with increasing reliance on digital platforms for customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Collaboration & Impact

You will work closely with our team in Portugal, ensuring alignment and maximizing the impact of business development initiatives. Additionally, you will contribute to shaping the digital presence of the company, identifying digital marketing opportunities that will position us as a thought leader in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• You will provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
• You will assess client’s overall financial picture, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan
• Guide clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision
• Keep abreast of new industry’s trends and research the market to back up financial consulting
• Oversee the course of client’s financial plan(s) and update it, if necessary, to ensure profits
• Comply with all industry rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Ideally be UK level 4 qualified, or be prepared to achieve this industry benchmark.
• 3 years+ proven working experience as a financial advisor working on a commission only basis.
• Proven working experience as an investment adviser
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Track record of successful financial guidance in previous roles
• Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate database systems
• Very competent in spoken and written business English
