As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you must be a career-driven and self-motivated individual who can proactively generate business. Working closely alongside IFAs, you will assist them in managing and developing their client base while actively identifying and generating new business opportunities. You will engage with prospective clients globally, introducing the company and its services. Leads will be sourced through inbound enquiries, client events, digital marketing campaigns, referrals, and your own business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement growth strategies and business development plans
- Generate leads and engage with prospective clients
- Promote the company’s financial products and services
- Research, identify, and follow up on new business opportunities
- Develop opportunities within target markets with support from the marketing team
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar Business Development role within the financial services sector (essential)
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, professional, and proactive attitude
