Business Development Manager (BDM)

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you must be a career-driven and self-motivated individual who can proactively generate business. Working closely alongside IFAs, you will assist them in looking after their client base as well as actively generating more leads for them. You will be making calls to people around the world to introduce the company. Your leads will originate from incoming enquiries, client events, online marketing as well as, of course, referrals and self-generated prospects.


  • Develop growth strategies and plans
  • Generate leads and contact prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s financial products and services
  • Research and follow up on new business opportunities
  • Develop opportunities in target markets with marketing support
  • Provide superiors with accurate forecasting of anticipated sales


  • BSc in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar Business Development position within the financial services field essential
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
